Makeup... The Grunge makeup trend was found on the fall 2010 runways this year. Here is how:

From stylelist.com

Start by lining your eyes (including your waterline) using a black pencil liner like MAC Greasepaint Stick in Slick Black. Dip a cotton swab in a slightly oily makeup remover and trace along the line to remove most of the color and push it along the roots of your lashes. Warren then smudges the eyeliner outwards to create a black haze around the eyes.

To blend the color upwards use a small eye shadow brush like Stila #15. "The goal is to extend the eye shape and create a messy, 'I slept in my makeup, but I still look amazing sort of look'," says Lucero.

Stick to more neutral tones like rust and khaki for a work-appropriate finish and go for shimmer to brighten eyes before a night out. "It's about enhancing shape and adding an element of structure to your features, keeping the focus on the eyes," Lucero adds.

The backstage beauty fixture recommends Stila Eye Shadow in Puppy for light to medium skin tones and Espresso for darker complexions during the day. For night, Diamond Lil'Eyeshadow (light skin), Twig (medium skin), and Pewter (dark skin) -- wet or dry -- add the right amount of sparkle when paired with lots of mascara.

Although this beauty trend is full-on grunge, Lucero points out that brows shouldn't go unkempt. "They help frame the face and further emphasize the eyes," she adds. And like the runway looks pictured above, keep cheeks soft and go bold or nude with your lips -- opting for a more matte finish because "the grunge girl doesn't have time for lipgloss!"
